Facade rendering
Render protects the masonry from the weather and gives the facade its texture and colour. We master traditional lime renders as well as modern single-coat systems, on new builds and renovations alike.
Every substrate needs its own preparation: removing old render, bonding coat, base coat, finish. That rigour is what prevents blistering and cracking two years down the line.
What we do
- Lime, cement and tinted single-coat renders
- Floated, scraped, sprayed or smoothed finishes
- Partial repair or complete re-rendering
- Compliance with locally imposed colour schemes
Frequently asked questions
Render or paint: which to choose? +
A through-coloured render lasts longer than paint and hides irregularities better. Paint remains a good option on sound render to change colour at lower cost.
How long does rendering a house take? +
For a single house, allow one to two weeks depending on surface area, preparation needed and weather.
